This manual shows how to use MTextReader to read text from your phone memory.

Run MTextReader in your Java phone, you should see the start screen:

Press any key, you will see the main menu screen:

If you don't like the color, you can change it via Setting:

Make the focus bar focuses Color Scheme then press FIRE key, you will see the effect immidiately. You can also change text size, encoding and language, here we are reading English text with plain ANSI encoding, this is the default encoding option of Windows Notepad, so if you are not sure what encoding your text file is, just try this one.

Then we back to TXT Browser to browse text files stored in phone memory, before this you need to at least have some text files stored in your phone memory.

As the picture shows, there are two drives: C and E. C is usually the phone built-in memory, E is usually the memory card.

We open E, there is a folder inside E drive: TxtBook, we open it, then open AesopFable directory.

There are several text files in this folder, we just select the first one.

Then here's the book:

Controls during reading:
FIRE - Start or Stop auto scroll
UP - Scroll up one line if NOT autoscroll, or reduce the speed when autoscroll
DOWN - Scroll down one line if NOT autoscroll, or increase the speed when autoscroll
LEFT - Scroll up a page/screen if NOT autoscroll
RIGHT - Scroll down a page/screen if NOT autoscroll
STAR(*) - Internal menu
Number 0 - Clock
POUND(#) - Set backlight always ON or normal (this may not work on some phones)

Internal Menu:
You can skip to a specified location, save current reading progress, change color scheme, go back to menu or browser, and quit MTextReader.
